Angus MacKay

With 20+ years of industry experience, Angus MacKay our Creative Director, started Corran Media in May of 2009. Angus started of his career as a picture editor at the Scottish Media Group in 1992. He spent 7 years at SMG working on many different projects gaining experience in Drama, Factual and commercials.

 

In 1999 Angus left SMG and spent 10 years as a freelance editor and post production consultant. During this time Angus worked for Studio Alba were he provided editorial and design services. He also cut his first feature film Seachd that was shot on the Isle of Skye. During this time Studio Alba acquired the first Smoke HD Suite in Scotland allowing Studio Alba and Angus to push their creative output to a new level.

 

At the beginning of 2009 Angus started Corran Media. Since starting the company Angus has acquired a vast client list from BAFTA winning producer Chris Young to BAFTA winning director Don Coutts.
